How HantaTracker collects, uses, and protects personal data — including the alert newsletter and anonymized analytics.

Who we are
HantaTracker is an independent surveillance dashboard operated for public information purposes. For privacy inquiries, contact privacy@hantatracker.com.
Data we collect
- Email address — only if you subscribe to alerts. Used to deliver notifications.
- Technical data — truncated IP, user-agent, pages viewed (anonymized analytics).
- Preferences — language (FR/EN) stored locally (localStorage). No third-party tracking cookies.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Explicit consent for alert subscriptions. Legitimate interest for anonymized analytics. We do not sell or share personal data with data brokers.
Retention
Email addresses are retained while your subscription is active and deleted within 30 days of an unsubscribe request. Technical logs are purged within 90 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, and object to processing of your data. Email privacy@hantatracker.com — we respond within 30 days. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA.
Processors
Hosting and infrastructure: Lovable Cloud (Supabase, EU). Transactional email: Resend. No other third party has access to personal data.
Cookies
We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Only browser local storage is used, solely to remember your language preference.
